Create a hint/password/secret message for your escape room using a Hart Chart (like the one on the right). We are using two charts, one with numerals. By default, we are using the one without numbers, but you can chage that at any time.
The coded message under the Hart Chart says, "HELLO WORLD". The characters under each blank line represents the row (A-J) and column (0-9) indices. Locate the correct character for each blank line to decode the message.
When using this coder, remember to download the chart used in generating the code and make it available to your players. Players may search for Hart Chart, but they won’t necessarily know which one to use or get the row and column designators needed to decode the message.
